Terms of Use

1. Purpose And Administration

The Hub supports Get Free Minnesota’s candidate introductions, nominations, candidate questions, and election preparation. These terms govern use of this app; they do not amend the organization’s governing documents or replace authorized election procedures.

2. Your Account And Consent

Review these terms and the Privacy Policy, make the separate consent selections, and verify an email address you control before an account is created. Do not impersonate another person or share sign-in codes. Email verification creates ordinary member access, not administrator privileges, proof of organizational membership, candidate eligibility, or voting rights.

Anyone with the Hub link who completes consent and email verification can enter the member area unless access has been revoked. This area is not limited to Board members. Keep this audience in mind when choosing information for a candidate profile.

3. Respectful And Responsible Use

Use the Hub for its organizational purpose. Provide accurate information to the best of your knowledge and request corrections when needed. Do not harass others, submit malicious content, bypass access controls, impersonate a candidate, or extract information in bulk. Do not copy, redistribute, or use another person’s profile, résumé, or contact details outside the intended review process without permission.

Do not submit Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, medical records, confidential personnel matters, detailed case histories, or information about another person that you are not authorized to provide. Sharing lived experience is optional.

4. Nominations And Candidate Responses

A nomination is a request for review. Nomination receipt, a questionnaire, or a displayed profile does not place someone on an official ballot or establish election eligibility. If you nominate someone else, accurately state whether they have agreed to be considered or still need follow-up.

You retain ownership of materials you provide. You allow the Administrator and necessary service providers to store and process submissions for the purposes explained in the Privacy Policy. Saved drafts stay in your account; submitted answers are available to the Administrator for review. Submitting answers does not automatically publish them to other members.

5. Résumés And Sharing Permission

Original résumés are currently restricted to the Administrator. Agreeing to these terms, signing in, accepting a nomination, or previously sending a résumé does not by itself authorize broader résumé sharing. Separate permission must identify the résumé copy and intended audience. Public-web publication requires separate, express permission.

You may decline sharing, supply a copy with contact details removed, request corrections, or withdraw permission for future sharing. Contact the Administrator to arrange changes. Material already downloaded or forwarded by another person may not be recoverable.

6. Voting And Governance Boundaries

Official voting remains closed. The Administrator’s ballot preview accepts practice choices only. No official vote is cast through signing in, submitting a nomination, completing questions, or accepting these terms. The Hub does not replace required notices, quorum decisions, eligibility review, election oversight, or the organization’s governing authority.

7. Your Choices And Access

You may stop using the Hub, decline résumé sharing, request removal of your displayed profile, or ask to close your account. Contact the Administrator for another way to provide candidate responses or nomination information. Choosing not to use the app does not itself withdraw a nomination, resign a position, or waive organizational rights.

The Administrator may suspend or revoke app access to address security, misuse, or an opt-out request. This is an app access decision, not an organizational disciplinary or election decision. You may ask the Administrator to review it.

8. Availability, Records And Changes

The Hub may be interrupted, and content may need correction. Save your work using the app’s save controls and keep a copy of important submissions. No system can guarantee uninterrupted service or absolute security. These terms do not limit rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be limited.

The effective date identifies these terms. If material account terms or data practices change, updated information and renewed consent will be requested before continued access. A change will not automatically expand permission to share your résumé.
